A Family Orientated Tennis Club in Finchley Central

Three Courts - Floodlit until 10pm

Social Tennis - Adult & Junior Teams - Coaching - Holiday Camps

Welcome to the website of the best kept secret in North London.

In 2023, we celebrated our centenary, and we are proud to have developed The Avenue into the successful grass roots family club that it is today.

In recent years the club has been transformed with a new pavilion, floodlit courts (curfew 10pm) and a separate junior court.

In Spring 2024 we fully refurbished our courts!

We recently completed the installation of solar panels on the club house roof and will soon be converting the floodlights to better, brighter, more eco-friendly LED lights.

Together, solar panels and LED lights will provide a more sustainable solution for our energy consumption and improved playing experience for our members and guests. The ability to sell any surplus energy back to the grid, will ultimately allow the club to provide floodlights for free to our members.

Tennis Shoes
Tennis Shoes
Naturally we are anxious to maintain the condition of our new court surfaces and so insist that everyone using the courts wears proper tennis shoes. Tennis shoes are flat bottomed, so trainers are not suitable as they have chunky grooves on the bottom that damage the surface.

Car parking at the club
There is no parking available at the tennis club but it is easy to park nearby and you can find full details on our Contact Page.
